Updates: Taliban militants claim responsibility of shooting down helicopter which killed Philippine and Norway ambassadors on May 8, 2015 in Gilgit in Northern Pakistan.
Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan released a message telling media that they are the one who shoot down the chopper carrying diplomats. The helicopter crashed into the school which according to reports that there are children inside.
Philippine Ambassador Domingo D. Lucenario Jr and Leif H. Larsen, the Norwegian envoy, are among those killed in the helicopter crash, says the Pakistan army spokesman.
6 People were killed during the helicopter crash in Pakistan school including the wives of the Malaysian and Indonesian ambassadors, as well as the helicopter's two pilots.

Fifty-seven people, including 32 men, 20 women and five children were on their way to Naltar, Gilgit on a Foreign Office-organised trip when one of the three helicopters crashed on the way.

TTP spokesperson Muhammad Khorasani claimed a special task force had prepared a plan to target Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, however, the premier escaped the attempt as he was in a different helicopter.
In a statement, Khorasani said “TTP will soon show the Shoulder Launch Missile (SAM SYSTEM) used in the attack”.
