'Heneral Luna' Now the Highest-Grossing Historical Film in PH
“Heneral Luna,” the Philippines' official entry to the Oscars 2016, reached P180 million in the box office in 4 weeks making it the country's highest-grossing historical movie of all time.
The official Facebook page of the film revealed its box office performance in four weeks:

The breakdown of figures show that the Jerrold Tarog masterpiece started slow but because of rave reviews in social media and “word of mouth,” it made a breakthrough on its 2nd and 3rd week.
“Heneral Luna” is now on its fourth week and currently screening in 96 theaters nationwide.
