Dell Launches Inspiron 15 Laptops for Casual Gamers
Most gamers prefer using a desktop than a laptop when playing their favorite games like Dark Souls, SkyRim, Overwatch or Grand Theft Auto V. It’s a no-brainer that a desktop has a faster processor than a laptop and it can accommodate the heavy graphics and sophisticated sound effects of today’s popular games.
Laptops are lagging behind desktops when it comes to performance because it has limited space. Quicker chips have more transistors and it requires more power, and only a desktop can accommodate these demands.
This is why my laptop has limited programs installed in it like Microsoft Word and Excel, and the lightest internet browser–Google Chrome–where I can update my social media accounts like Facebook and Twitter. My desktop has all the high-performing publishing software like Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop, and graphics-driven games like World of Warcraft, Divekick and The Walking Dead.
During the launch of Dell Inspiron 15, Dell Philippines changed the way I see laptops. The computer technology company dubbed their new Inspiron Gaming laptops as the most powerful to date and it’s tailored to the needs of enthusiasts. They feature the most aggressive performance design and components offered within the entire Inspiron laptop family. This new generation of gaming laptops is now at par with the capabilities of a desktop and the best thing about it is you can now play anywhere you want because it’s portable–it’s a laptop! And to add to that, casual gamers won’t see the difference.

Dell Brand Manager for Desktops and Monitors Alvin Habaña revealed that the specs of the Inspiron 15 700 series will satisfy even hardcore gamers who are used to play their favorite games using a desktop.
“The Inspiron 15 700 looks like a professional device that you can bring to your office or elsewhere and do your everyday work. But it has the characteristics of a desktop using the latest Intel processors and GTX 4G DDR5 graphics card that can support 4K and FHD resolution.”
“It also has a dual fan thermal system when the unit generates more heat as it performs, plus a subwoofer so you can hear great sounds when you need to play. Aside from the performance, it also has the premium components that we usually see in our gaming devices. First, the overabundance of strength powers. Of course it uses the latest Intel Quad Core Processor, and it uses the NVIDIA GTX graphics. Second, it can get louder because of the front firing speakers, a dedicated subwoofer by WavesMaxxAudio Pro. Third, is reliability. It’s designed and proven to work.”
