Indian Teenager Invented The Fastest Phone Charger Ever: Full Battery Within 30 Seconds

Eesha Khare, The Khare capacitor

We hate it when our phone just got a low battery. Smartphones nowadays do not last long when charged. We also dislike the long stretch of time dedicated to charging our phones (it is not advisable to use a phone while charging!).

Fortunately, our frustrations will be set aside if this invention is finally found its way into mass production. An Indian teenager invented a device that can fully charge a smartphone in less than a minute! Find out how her invention works!

Eesha Khare revealed this stunning invention to the world at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair in Phoenix, Arizona. Despite her young age, she utilized advanced nanotechnology in her invention. She wants to call her charger ' The Khare capacitor (eponymous) ' if her invention will ever reach mass production.

The high power density of the Khare Capacitor made it more amazing. Compared to a normal charger, her invention does not look like a conventional charger. Instead, it looks like something that can be directly rigged in a standard Li-on battery and it can fully charge the phone within 30 seconds!

The then 18-year-old high school student Eesha Khare invented this device back in 2013. She garnered wide media attention when her story was published by many mainstream tech websites or news websites. May Eesha Khare serve as an inspiration for many young people to invent something that will be useful in many ways.
