Zsa Zsa Padilla, Humagulgol Matapos Malamang Nabiktima Siya ng Isang Scam

These days, it is very easy to fall for an online scam. Most scams nowadays are elaborate, that's why many unsuspecting people fall into their trap. Aside from the usual 'budol-budol' scam, identity theft is also prevalent on social media.

Using social media, a crook can take another person's photos and use it for his own gain. Even celebrities and public figure are not safe from these scams. This is especially true for celebrities, whose photos are often used to create dummy accounts.

One of many celebrities who fell victim in a scam is Zsa Zsa Padilla. Recently, the 54-year-old celebrity revealed how she unknowingly fell for a scam. She was about to marry her fiance, business magnate Conrad Onglad, however, the hit a small bump on the road.

Apparently, when Zsa Zsa was ready to file for her certificate of no marriage, the actress was shocked by what she discovered! According to the registry office, the actress has been married to a Japanese citizen named Shigemi Nabehigashi way back in 1992.

"I cried right there. Humagulgol ako, kasi sabi ko 'How can this be?' Hindi naman nangyari yan eh, hindi ako yan papaano nangyari yun? Eleven years, hindi pa ba enough yung hinintay ko."

Being married in 1992 is impossible since Zsa Zsa was vacationing at America with her former partner, Dolphy. They tried tracing the man in the Bureau of Immigration and they found out that he only visited the Philippines one time in 1996.

To fix this blunder, Zsa Zsa spent one year to appeal for the annulment of the marriage. Finally, the court has declared her marriage nullified. Zsa Zsa also warns others to be alert all the time so that they won't fall into the same fake marriage scam.
