In 2017, a photo of a boy studying in the streets went viral on social media. Since it's nighttime, the boy was only relying on the light of an opened McDonald's restaurant. Back then, the boy's determination to study inspired many people online.

Soon enough, many people got to know the kid behind this viral photo. The boy on the picture is Daniel Cabrera, a student of Subangdaku Elementary School.

When the photo was taken, Daniel was merely 11 years old and was in fourth grade.

Apparently, Daniel was prompted to study in the fast food chain's drive-thru because their house doesn't have electricity.

But after his photo went viral, help flooded for the hard-working student. Now, two years later, Daniel has already graduated from elementary!

From the boy who was studying in the streets, Daniel has definitely come a long way. Thanks to the immense help he received from the netizens, Daniel was able to finish his elementary schooling.

What's more amazing, he graduated with flying colors!

According to sources online, Daniel received multiple awards during their commencement exercises. He was awarded "Best in Math" and "Best in Attendance," proof that he was a studious and hard-working student. To reward his achievement, McDonald's prepared a surprise for him.

To celebrate his graduation day, McDonald's gave Daniel a surprise party in one of their food chains!

In addition to that, many netizens also reached out to Daniel and expressed their congratulations to this little dreamer.
