A couple's inspirational story of success is now making rounds on social media. George and Chin, the founder of the SureTrust Group, shared how they started with humble beginnings.

In the past, they only depended for one another for support. The wife was then working a minimum wage job, while the husband struggles through many endeavors just to earn money. He has experienced selling siomai, pizza roll, and hotdog bun just to get by.

"I sold siomai, pizza roll, hotdog bun, etc. for a living while finding a decent job. People were laughing but we didn't really care. We started as a team and we made it through life’s battles as a team."

It also came to a point when they were forced to eat corned beef and pancit canton. Even though life was a daily struggle, Chin and George have one thing to rely on: their love and commitment for one another. They persevered throughout the hardships together.

"Chin and I share a common struggle 5 years back. She used to depend on a corned beef value pack worth Php7.00 as an employee earning minimum wage while I depended on pancit canton as unemployed to survive the week."

Now, years later, who would have thought that the siomai vendor is finally the CEO of his own company? In 2015, George and Chin were able to build their own business from scratch. They founded SureTrust Group, a company that deals with car loans and real estate.

Their journey to success wasn't easy, but in the end, they beat all the odds. Their secret? Dedication and perseverance. Chin and George's rags-to-riches story is proof that you can do anything as long as you put your mind into it.
