Direk, Nagsalita na sa Pagbabalik ni John Lloyd sa "Home Sweetie Home"

It has been two years since John Lloyd Cruz bade goodbye from his career. Ever since his sudden hiatus in 2017, many people are already looking forward to the showbiz comeback of Kapamilya's most popular matinee idol.

Just last month, his fans prayers were answered when John Lloyd appeared in an endorsement for shawarma. After two years, many things have changed about the actor, particularly about his physical appearance. In spite of this, many people were thrilled to see their beloved idol.

Before John Lloyd went on indefinite leave, he was one of the main casts of the show "Home Sweetie Home." In this sitcom, the 35-year-old actor plays the loving and doting husband of Toni Gonzaga. Since he left, the show carried on and added more casts.

Now that John Lloyd has finally made his showbiz comeback, is he still welcome in the sit-com? According to the show's director, Direk Bobot Mortiz, their doors are always open for the actor. During the media conference of the show, Direk Bobot was quoted as saying:

"Our house is open for everyone, including John Lloyd Cruz. S’yempre si John Lloyd pa rin. Hindi matatawaran ang galing n’ya sa pag-arte. At saka parang ‘di pa tapos ‘yung kwento nila ni Julie."

This decision was seconded by other casts, who are also looking forward to John Lloyd Cruz's comeback. Alex Gonzaga, who is one of the newest cast in the Saturday show also expressed her enthusiasm in working with the veteran actor: "Siguro para sa’kin, tama si Direk, gusto ko rin makasama si John Lloyd."

Now, all that we are waiting for is the actor's go signal. We're sure that many people are also looking forward to John Lloyd's television comeback.
