One of the toughest things in being a stepparent is dealing with your stepchild. This situation is complicated not only for the stepparent but for everybody involved as well. It takes effort, understanding, and willingness from both sides to make it work.

That being said, it's no wonder why many stepparents and stepchildren have a complicated relationship. Recently, Raffy Tulfo encountered a similar case in his program "Wanted sa Radyo."

Analyn Canoy from Cainta, Rizal, sought help from the program to rescue her two nephews from their stepmother.

Analyn's brother, Augusto Arciaga, is an OFW in Taiwan. When he left the country, he left his two kids in the care of his lover Generose Arguiza.

During the interview, the two young siblings recounted how their stepmom allegedly mistreats them. According to the two brothers, Generose allegedly hit them with a plastic hanger until it broke.

To defend herself, Generose claimed that it was only her way of disciplining her stepchildren. Apparently, the two boys have been involved in trouble before. In fact, one of them was caught red-handedly getting money from Generose's wallet.

In spite of this, both parties decided to just give the children to their aunt Analyn. This is the best option since Generose is also working a full-time job, hence she cannot guard the children all the time.
