Imbes na Flyers, Buto ang Ipinapamigay ng Tumatakbong Kandidatong ito sa Cavite

In the midst of the election campaign, the candidates have their own tactics to leave their mark. Usually, they give out campaign materials such as t-shirts, flyers, wristbands, and fans to the masses. However, one candidate stood above the rest for his ingenious idea!

Instead of giving out the usual campaign materials, this candidate from Cavite gave out plant seeds. The plant seeds were placed in little clear plastic with the candidate's name and photo. The politician behind this brilliant and eco-friendly idea is re-electionist councilor Bevan Bencito.

His campaign gimmick was applauded by thousands of netizens online. Most of the time, the campaign materials are often turned into trash. But with Bencito's plan, the voters get to help the environment by planting the seeds.

The photo was posted by a netizen who was impressed with the idea. On Facebook, AM Dimapilis Locaylocay was quoted as saying: "Natuwa lang ako kay konsehal Bevan, kasi imbis na candy yung ipamigay nya sa kampanya ang binigay nya ay seeds na pwedeng itanim. Nice one!"

On the other hand, many people also praised the re-electionist for his bright idea. Some people are even asking other politicians to follow suit and instead of giving out materials that can be turned into trash, give out seeds instead:

"This is not vote buying because the candidate is telling the voter na mag tanim which is the reason why he is giving away seeds, this is the manner of showing his platform of government by actually giving seeds."
