Mangyan Scholar ni Kara David, Isa ng Lisensyadong Guro Matapos Pumasa sa LET

Seasoned broadcast journalist Kara David shared the recent victory of one of her scholars, Patrick Reyes, who has Mangyan roots. Patrick is finally a licensed teacher after passing the recent Licensure Exam for Teachers. Patrick is one of the scholars of Kara's foundation, "Project Malasakit."

On Instagram, Kara shared a screenshot of Patrick's name from the LET passers. She also penned a heartwarming message for her scholar, describing Patrick as a 'hardworking young man.'

"He is a hardworking young man who dreams of becoming a teacher to help spread the gift of education to his community. Bravo Patrick! We are very proud of you!"

Kara met Patrick when she did a documentary in one of the rural villages in Mindoro a few years ago. Back then, Patrick was still a young child, but he already showed promise and potential.

On the other hand, many people also expressed their admiration for the seasoned broadcaster for her generosity and kindness. Indeed, if Kara didn't open up the doors of opportunities, Patrick Reyes would have never achieved his dream:

"Congrats sa boy scholar and congrats to you too, Miss Kara David, more blessings to come to you and share with needy children. Hindi ka lang magaling sa tv, may busilak ka rin palang puso Ms. Kara David."
