Because of this, the "I Love You, Goodbye" actor was devastated after hearing the news about Eddie Garcia. He was one of the many stars who visited the late actor during his wake in Heritage Park, Taguig City.

During the solemn ceremony for the celebrated actor, many people said a few words in remembrance of him. Alden Richards himself took advantage of this moment to dedicate a poem to the late actor.

Alden dedicated the poem ‘So Many Different Lengths of Time’ by Brian Patten to honor Eddie Garcia. In this heartfelt literary work, Alden expressed his longing for the late actor, but it still looking forward to reliving his legacy.
