Kahit Mahirap, Mag-Isang Itinataguyod ng Matandang ito ang Asawa Niyang Baldado

In marriage, couples swear to stay together in sickness and in health, for richer or for poorer. Unfortunately, not all married couples live by this promise. Only a few are gifted enough to stay with one another no matter what comes in their way.

Among those lucky ones is this elderly couple from Asia. Even though his wife is already ailing, the husband still takes care of her with love and devotion. They are not wealthy with riches, but they are definitely blessed with a loving relationship.

In order to get by, the husband makes a living by picking up and sorting out scrap. This is an exhausting job which takes up the entire day, yet pays very little. So, to keep a close eye on his wife, the husband decided to customize his motorcycle.

This way, he gets to carry his wife wherever he goes! Every day, the two of them would roam around the streets and search for garbage cans. While the wife is lying on the motorcycle, the husband will go from dumpster to dumpster to search for scraps.

Even though life is a daily struggle, the husband reveals that he is happy as long as they are together. They may not have a fancy house or a fast car, but what matters is they have the company of one another:

"I'm so proud that I can take care of my wife. That's the most important thing. I spent all my money in buying pillows and quilts so it's comfortable for her."
