Wowowin Contestant, Naiiyak na Nagpasalamat sa Tatay Niyang Basurero

Father's day is just around the corner! In light of this special day, let us honor the person who has been with us since day one: our fathers. Indeed, they are willing to make any sacrifices for the sake of their children.

As a provider of the family, a father must be able to provide the needs of his wife and children. This is not an easy feat since all of the family members are looking up to you for support. That being said, most men are willing to have any job just to provide for their family.

Of course, their efforts won't definitely go unnoticed. Earlier this week, the game show "Wowowin" witnessed the inspirational story of a contestant and his father. During his talk with host Willie Revillame, Andrew narrated their life.

Andrew has six siblings, and one of them has special needs. Because of this, his elderly father worked extra hard just to provide for their needs. For many years, he worked as a garbage collector. Even though he doesn't earn much, he earned the respect of his children.

According to Andrew, he has an unwavering respect for his father, who did everything that he could just to put food on the table for their family. During their heart-to-heart talk, Andrew couldn't help but be emotional as he expressed his overwhelming gratitude for his father.

Even Willie Revillame was moved by their story. As a token of appreciation, the kindhearted host gave Php 10,000 to the father. Watch the rest of the interview in this video below:
