Alfred Ndlovu, a South African pastor, died after he tried to beat Jesus Christ's record in fasting for 40 days and 40 nights, Ndlovu passed away of malnutrition on his 30 days without food.

A report from Buzz South Africa stated that pastor Alfred Ndlovu of 44 years of age went out of home on June 17 to make prayers in the wilderness just like what Jesus did in the Bible.

Pastor Ndlovu wanted to beat the record of Jesus Christ in fasting so he attempted to break it during his prayer journey.

Without history of illness in the past the pastor died after a month with a sign of malnutrition given in his body.

The corpse of pastor Ndlovu was found by a stranger that was passing by in the nearby bush, the stranger immediately reported it to the police for response.

His death surprised everyone as people of the community known the pastor to be a very spiritual person that his faith caould even move mountains and part the seas.

Even the church members can't believe to what happened to the pastor.

However, the only motive that the family members of pastor Alfred Ndlovu believed  is that the pastor intended to surpass the might of Jesus Christ by proving that he can break its record.

"He was a very spiritual man. It’s unfortunate he had to die this way. After a month we got the sad news of his death. The pastor was a healthy and religious old man who did not even look his age." pastor Alfred Ndlovu's re;ative said.
