Haunted House, McKamey Manor

If you can escape this Nashville area haunted house without chickening out, they’re willing to pay you 20 grand.

McKamey Manor has been named the scariest and most extreme haunted house in the world. Before entering, visitors must sign a 40-page waiver, have passed a sports physical, provide a doctor’s note stating they’re cleared to participate and provide a safe word. The waiver process alone can last 3-4 hours, according to McKamey Manor’s website.

McKamey Manor describes themselves as an “Extreme Haunted Attraction,” and a “Survival Horror Challenge” that’s based on each person’s personal fear. The tour can last up to 10 hours and you will be mentally, physically, and emotionally challenged until you reach your personal breaking point. So far, there have been no recipients of the $20,000 prize money.

Apparently, this won’t be the average haunted house you’d expect at a theme park. You can expect wet conditions, physically demanding environments, intense audio, close contact with creatures, extremely low visibility, graphic scenes of horror, and there will be some touching.
