 A short response, but her statement speaks a lot of everything. Filipina actress Maymay Entrata admits that there is currently someone ‘special’ that makes her heart wild with joy right now.

On a report released recently by Mega, the actress does not deny that her current love life status is indeed very colorful when asked about her relationship status with someone. Although Maymay did not mention nor drop any names that would directly point out to this mysterious personality.

On her response to the interview, Maymay mentions that she would like everyone—fans and media alike—to respect her privacy in this matter, especially to whatever decision she makes in her life most importantly her love life.

“Sa totoo lang po may nagpapasaya na po sa aking puso at naway kahit anong maging desisyon namin ay respetuhin po 'yun ng aking mga taga-supporta,” Maymay said on the interview.

Although for some netizens, many believe that this special someone that Maymay is hinting about is her onscreen love-team Edward Barber. The two first met when they joined the reality TV show Pinoy Big Brother. Their supporters formed a name for their loveteam called MayWard and immediately clicked and sparked with chemistry among their fans.

The two released a joint statement however when asked about their relationship status. The onscreen partners revealed that the two are just really good friends as of the moment, and nothing else more.

With the two being a long-time onscreen loveteam and partners, the two decided that it would be better if they remain friends for the time being.

Edward and Maymay are recently worked together on their newest project and movie called, ““Princess DayaReese” which can be streamed and watched on KTX.ph, iWant TFC, and TFC, aired last January 1.

It was timely to ask about her current love status as Maymay Entrata will be on the cover of Mega Style magazine for the month of April. According to the 23-year-old actress, she said that for the many years of working in the showbiz industry, she has found her purpose apart from achieving her dreams.

“Yung pakiramdam na tagumpay, hindi lang tagumpay sa mga bagay na meron ako o pangarap na aking natupad kundi tagumpay sa pagtuklas ng purpose ko dito sa industriya,” said Maymay.

She also added, “Araw-araw pinipili kong pasalamatan ang Panginoon dahil habang tumatagal madami akong natutunan at isa na dito is to fully embrace the entertainment world I am in because through this unti-unti kong naintindihan na lahat ng blessings ko ngayon ay blessings din sa karamihan.”
