Klaytn, Neowiz to launch $150k Airdrop event for 'Crypto Golf Impact'
Klaytn and Neowiz on Monday announced that they will be launching an airdrop event for Crypto Golf Impact with USD 150,000 worth of KLAY for 7,000 NEOPIN wallet holders.
In a press release, game developer Neowiz said that this airdrop campaign is part of the pre-release marketing for "Crypto Golf Impact," a play-to-earn (P2E) game powered by the NEOPIN platform (built on the Klaytn mainnet).
The airdrop campaign will run from March 14 to 23, 2022, and both existing and new NEOPIN wallet holders can participate by completing the tasks outlined on the event page, which include following Klaytn and Crypto Golf Impact's official Twitter accounts and social media channels.
At the conclusion of the registration period, a random draw will select 7,000 users to receive the USD 20 equivalent of KLAY tokens via airdrop to their respective NEOPIN wallets. On March 25, 2022, the winners will be announced.

For the uninitiated, Crypto Golf Impact is a mobile sports game that is set to be officially released in April 2022. It is a revamp of "Golf Impact," with the integration of Neopin blockchain technology.
The game features intuitive controls and is optimized for real-time PVP (player-versus-player) gameplay against other players worldwide. Following the April launch of Crypto Golf Impact, Neowiz intends to launch additional P2E titles from their portfolio on the Klaytn-based NEOPIN platform in the second quarter of this year.
The two organizations' strategic partnership entails collaboration on a variety of play-to-earn projects, ranging from development to technical and strategic marketing support.
Finally, Neowiz is expected to unveil three P2E titles that will be available on the Neopin Blockchain (Klaytn Mainnet) in 2022. Among the titles are "Crypto Golf Impact," "Brave Nine," and "A.V.A." (Alliance of Valiant Arms).
A representative from Neowiz said that they are "proactive in the development of blockchain games and keen on retaining the core gaming 'essence' while providing the natural blockchain experience."
