CODM: Blacklist International Ultimate are the Garena Invt'l 2022 champions

Tier One-led Blacklist International Ultimate squad was crowned champion of CODM Garena Invitational 2022 after defeating Indonesia's DG Esports via a reverse sweep 3-2 in the grand finals.

Blacklist ULT had a challenging match against DG Esports, overcoming an early series deficit of 2-3 to force a comeback and a second series in the grand final.

The first series was a seesaw fight between the two teams. Blacklist ULT dominated Hardpoint at Firing Range map 150-125, lost Search and Destroy at Standoff map 3-6, and succeeded again in Domination at Raid 150-87. DG then rallied to triumph Hardpoint at Takeoff 150-63 to force a game 5. Blacklist ULT suffered a stunning 5-6 loss in Search and Destroy game at Summit map as DG Esports forced a bracket reset.

In the bracket reset, Blacklist ULT lost the first two games in Hardpoint at Firing Range map 60-150 and Search and Destroy at Raid map 4-6. However, the Filipino squad made a resurgence, winning 3 consecutive games in Domination at Standoff map 150-118, Hardpoint at Takeoff map 150-88, and Search and Destroy at Summit map 6-4 to secure the reverse sweep.

With their win, Blacklist Ultimate bagged the lion's share of USD 14,000 (~ PHP 730K) from the USD 40,000 (~ PHP 2 million) prize pool.

Blacklist ULT earned their slot for Garena Invt'l 2022 after winning the Call of Duty Mobile Garena Masters Season 1.
