Gravity Game Link reveals Ragnarok Labyrinth NFT release date

Gravity Game Link has announced the release date of its free-to-play MMORPG title Ragnarok Labyrinth NFT.

According to the official Ragnarok Labyrinth NFT Twitter handle, the game will launch on April 13, 2022, at 7 AM GMT +7 (8 AM Philippine Time). [Update] Ragnarok Labyrinth NFT release date was moved to April 27, 2022.

Prior to the official launch, the game has a pre-registration event for the Southeast Asia region, bringing abundant in-game rewards to players. As of writing, the game has over 1 million pre-registrations and surpassed the 1M pre-registration milestone.

Ragnarok Labyrinth NFT, operated by Gravity Game Link (GGL), an Indonesian branch of Gravity, is the first official Ragnarok Online IP integrated with play-to-earn and NFT (non-fungible token) elements.

The mobile MMORPG game is integrated with blockchain technology through ONBUFF coins, which can be traded on a DeFi (Decentralized Finance) exchange. It is also incorporated with NFT that players can experience through game characters.

ONBUFF is composed of three tokens: ONBUFF Point, NEWTON, and ONIT.

Players can obtain ONBUFF Point when they kill MVP monsters, finish daily quests, and get achievements. They can use this in-game currency to buy items or trade to NEWTON.

Meanwhile, NEWTON is the governance token of INNO Platform's Planets. ONBUFF Points can be exchanged to NEWTON through the INNO platform.

NEWTON can be exchanged with ONIT, which can be traded in a DeFi into cryptocurrency through blockchain technology.

The Ragnarok Labyrinth NFT with the "Time-Effective" mobile MMORPG game genre comes with several features: Auto Play, MVP Boss Fight, Labyrinth Maze Dungeons, Game Modes (PVP duels and Raids), Upgrade System, and Auction House. It features 4 Basic Jobs: Swordman, Mage, Archer, and Thief. Meanwhile, the Advance Jobs include Knight, Lord Knight, Wizard, High Wizard, Hunter, Sniper, Assassin, and Assassin Cross.

To recall, the non-NFT version of the game, The Labyrinth of Ragnarok, was first released in the Southeast Asia (SEA) region in September 2020.

The release date of Ragnarok Labyrinth NFT is April 13, 2022. The free-to-play MMORPG will be available on Android (via Google Play) and iOS (via Apple App Store) platforms.
