Ibinunyag ng Netizen na ito ang Nangyayaring 'Overpricing' sa Isang Supermarket

People go to the supermarket for convenience. It's considerably cleaner than public markets and the products are easier to find. However, convenience comes with a price. One concerned citizen has shared his shocking discovery about supermarket pricing.

We all know that supermarket charges more compared to 'talipapa' or public market. However, no one expected that there will be a major overpricing in the products. This is the reason why this woman was shocked after seeing her receipt.

On Facebook, LJ Lumola shared that she is shopping in a big supermarket somewhere in Novaliches. She bought cauliflower priced at Php 66. However, when the cashier already punched it, Lumola was shocked to see that the cauliflower now costs more than Php 118! In less than a few seconds, the price doubled!

The tag price was deceiving to the buyers. Luckily, Lumola was very sharp and immediately informed the cashier about this incident. According to her Facebook post, she aims to spread awareness for other unsuspecting shoppers out there.

Her post garnered divided reactions online. Many people were horrified by her experience. On the other hand, some people suggested that instead of shopping in a supermarket, we can try shopping in public markets instead:

"Kaya nga mas mainam pa na sa local market mamili kasi yung mga small business at local farmers ang matutulungan.kesa sa mga sikat na supermarket.mahal na di pa nila support local farmers."
