What would you have done if you came upon a bag containing a huge amount of cash? For some people, they might be tempted to keep the bag for themselves, but not Sammy dela Cruz. For this family driver from Sta. Mesa, Manila, honesty is a virtue he truly values.

Recently, the 49-year-old driver came upon a bag that contains thousands worth of belongings. The bag, which was lying on the road, holds an expensive mobile phone, parts of a motorcycle, and Php 66,600 of cash! All in all, the value of the bag's contents were placed at Php 82,600.

For many people, they might give in to this temptation. After all, it's not every day that you get to encounter something like this. But for Dela Cruz, after seeing the bag's contents, he immediately decided to look for its rightful owner.

He approached the program "Solian ng Bayan" of Raffy Tulfo. On-air, he surrendered the bag to Jeffrey Soriano, a contractor. Raffy Tulfo himself was astounded after finding out the amount that the honest driver had surrendered!

On the other hand, many netizens couldn't help but notice the contractor's 'ungrateful' attitude towards the Good Samaritan. Apparently, for many people, Dela Cruz deserves a reward for his honesty. However, in spite of Raffy Tulfo's hints, the contractor remained tight-fisted.
