Korina Sanchez, May Reaksyon sa Naging Resulta ng Halalan

The result of the recent senatorial elections left many people dumbfounded. Among the hopefuls who did not make it to the 'Magic 12' was Mar Roxas.

Roxas, who has been a seasoned player in the dynamic game of politics, landed at the 16th spot with more than 9.7 million votes. He's short of 4.7 million votes to surpass Nancy Binay and get into the 'Magic 12.'

His wife, Kapamilya host Korina Sanchez, shared how they dealt with this news. For most politicians, vote counting is perhaps one of the most anticipated days in their career. But apparently, 'Mr. Palengke' treated it just like any other day.

According to Korina Sanchez, that day, she was anxious to hear the results. On the other hand, Mar was relaxed and told her to 'not bother' with the election results. Instead, the couple decided to shift their focus in taking care of their twins.

"Politics is a game. You play the game hoping for a win so you can honestly serve and correct what needs to be. Make the world a better place than when we found it. Can't do much about how other players play the game, or what other motivations there could be."

Even though her husband did not win in the recent election, Korina is still looking forward with a positive mindset. On Instagram, the 'Rated K' host hinted that this will not be her husband's last election.

For the meantime, they will focus on their twins, who are growing bigger every minute:

"Meantime, we soldier on. Until we get as close as possible to what's best for the country, and for our children. The work continues."
