Lalaking Tumulong sa mga Stranded ng Ulan, Hinangaan ng mga Netizens

Move over summer, the rainy season has officially begun! On May 23, people all over Metro Manila and other nearby places were surprised with the heavy downpour of rain.

For many people, it was a cool break from the scorching heat. However, those who were unprepared found the heavy rains inconvenient.

As a result of the heavy rains, some of the roads flooded, which led to many commuters being stranded. While being stranded can be a really frustrating experience, one good Samaritan managed to be a ray of sunshine for others.

In the midst of the downpour, a kindhearted man decided to lend a helping hand to others in need. A netizen named Noel Guevarra shared his heartwarming experience that occurred during the unexpected downpour.

Apparently, many people were stranded because of the rain. Out of nowhere, a middle-aged man started to approach the stranded strangers and offered to help them. The good Samaritan held an umbrella and offered to escort people to their nearby destinations.

Noel was the first person who accepted the man's offer. According to Noel, the man escorted him to the jeepney terminal. While he was waiting for the jeepney, he observed how the man continued to help more stranded passengers by offering them an umbrella.

"Nilapitan ko siya, at inabutan ko ng pangmeryenda. Pero hindi nya tinanggap dahil gusto nya lang talaga makatulong. Napangiti ako kasi kita kong masaya siya na nakatulong siya sa maraming tao."

We take our hats off to you, manong!
