Barbie Imperial, Aminadong Tinitipid ang Sarili Para Makabili ng Bahay

At a young age, it's never too early to start saving for your future. This is the life-long motto of Kapamilya actress Barbie Imperial, who, at the age of 20, is already planning to buy a house. In an interview PUSH, the actress revealed that she almost bought a property.

She was set to buy a house in a subdivision in Quezon City. However, upon knowing that the property is located in a fault line, the actress changed her mind. Now, she's still saving up for her dream house.

According to Barbie, there are a lot of ways to save. When it comes to shopping, the clever actress is a fan of online stores. She revealed that she mostly buy from discounted stores online in order to save money:

“At saka hindi ako maluhong tao, eh. Siguro yung mga bags na meron ako, may nagbibigay, mga online shop, ganun. Yung iba naman galing sa mga tita ko. Tapos kung bibili lang ako dapat may discount."

Furthermore, Barbie also shared her effective method in saving. To control her monthly expenses, Barbie has a separate bank account for her savings and for her expenses. This way, she gets to manage her impulses in spending.

“Hindi ako magastos na tao, eh. May bank account ako na sa ipon ko, tapos maglalagay lang ako sa (atm) card ko ng para sa isang buwan, tapos titipirin ko na yon para may naiipon ako. Pero hindi naman to the point na ipon na ipon na tinitipid ko na yung sarili ko."
