On June 10, Gazini Ganados was crowned as the new Miss Universe Philippines in the recent Binibining Pilipinas 2019. During the coronation night, thousands of fans all over the nation rejoiced with Gazini's victory.

However, it seems like not all people were happy with the results of Binibining Pilipinas. The newly-crowned beauty queen is facing backlash on social media, particularly about her looks. To prove her detractors wrong, Gazini made a bold move.

In her recent appearance on "Tonight with Boy Abunda," Gazini Ganados did a thing that no other beauty queen has ever done before: take her makeup off in live television. Even the renowned host was surprised when the beauty queen offered to take off her own makeup.

During her interview, Gazini quipped "Sorry, pero gusto mo tanggalin natin?" At first, the host thought she was kidding, but then Boy Abunda was taken aback when Gazini followed up with her promise.

"Sa tinagal tanggal ko po sa telebisyon, this is the first time that a beauty queen actually takes off her makeup in front of me on national television," said the host, praising the beauty queen for her courage to do this on national television.

We have seen many beauty queens in their bare face before, but what Gazini did was entirely new. Removing her makeup during an interview is certainly a first! Because of this, the beauty queen was admired by netizens.
