Amid the controversy involving her former boyfriend Gerald Anderson and his known girlfriend, Bea Alonzo, Maja Salvador became the subject of memes chronicling the actor’s dating history.
“Maglabas lang sila,” Salvador said on Thursday, when asked for her reaction to the so-called “shampoo beauties” memes.

Prior to Salvador, Anderson was romantically involved with Kim Chiu, Alonzo, and Sarah Geronimo. He rekindled his romance with Alonzo in 2016. In the duration of that latest relationship, Anderson denied rumors alleging he had romantic ties with Pia Wurtzbach and Julia Barretto, his leading ladies in separate films.
The 6 women, who all have shampoo endorsements, were also depicted in a widely criticized ad from Grab Philippines, which it then immediately took down and apologized for.
Anderson and Salvador were a couple for two years until 2015.
“Ayoko nang sumali. Masaya ako. Ayoko sumali, ayokong sumagot. Sa akin, kung puwede lang, wala na ako diyan,” Salvador said, when asked about the topic during a media huddle after the press conference for “The Killer Bride,” her upcoming ABS-CBN series.

Anderson’s relationship with Barretto has been the subject of speculation in the past week, after Alonzo, through a cryptic Instagram post, hinted at infidelity in her relationship.
“Hayaan natin silang lahat mag-heal, dahil hindi madali ang may mga pinagdadaanan,” Salvador said. “So huwag na tayong sumabay, huwag na nating gatungan, kasi at the end of the day, lahat tayo tao, nasasaktan, at marami tayong mga bagay na mas kailangan pang asikasuhin na mas importante.”

Salvador, who had made no secret of her heartbreak over Anderson in 2015, maintained on Thursday that she does not regret any of her past relationships.
She was being asked to react to a recent viral video of “It’s Showtime” co-hosts Vice Ganda and Anne Curtis, where the comedian teased that if the latter hadn’t had her heart broken over her breakup with actor Sam Milby, she wouldn’t be happily married to her husband, restaurateur Erwan Heussaff.
“Akin kasi, kung minahal mo naman ‘yung tao, paano siya magiging pagkakamali, e choice mo rin naman ‘yon. May natutunan naman,” Salvador said.
Salvador is currently in a relationship with businessman Rambo Nuñez. While she offered that she is now at her “happiest disposition,” she declined to give further details about her personal life.
