Fat People are Nicer, Study Suggests
German researchers conducted a study with 20 fat men and 20 thin men by letting them compete with virtual reality (VR) video games for a prize; and later found out that corpulent men are more likely nicer and more generous than lean men.
Fat men were at the average weight of 266 pounds and thin men were at 154 pounds.
Both participants of the study were asked to play lab games with a given offered price to the winner, at the end it was concluded that lean men are more likely indecisive with less fair decisions, and only bet a small amount of money, only 16% of what the corpulent people bidded.
However, thin men were able to bid higher amount of money yet being impulsive and grumpy because they were lack of blood sugar levels.
It can be said that fat people are nicer than thin people.
"Our data shows that economic decision-making is affected by both the body and the body weights of their opponents , and that blood glucose concentrations should be taken into consideration when analysing economic decision making." Researchers wrote.
