Malls Offered Free Parking After Taal Volcano Eruption
Shopping malls such as SM and Robinsons offered free parking spaces overnight after the Taal Volcano erupted on Sunday, January 12, 2020.
With the tagline "We value your safety," SM Supermalls said they have waived overnight parking charges in SM Malls located in Metro Manila, Batangas, Laguna and Cavite for the safety of their customers who travel in affected areas and to secure their vehicles.
Meanwhile, Robinsons Malls in a Facebook post offered parking spaces free of charge, on a first come, first served basis, due to continuous ashfall in the affected areas.
Robinsons in Dasmarinas, Imus, GenTrias, Tagaytay, Galleria South, Metro East, Cainta, Galleria, Forum, and Las Piñas offered free overnight parking.
As of yet, here has been no information whether or not they extended the offer.
