Ambient Digital Philippines No Ads, Delayed Payments Due to Covid-19
Ambient Digital Philippines assured publishers that they are still operational despite displaying no ads and having delayed payments.
It has been two months that the ad network failed to display ads on blogs and websites. When the government imposed an Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) in March, ads have stopped showing and payments to publishers have not been made.
We tried to contact company representatives via email and text to ask them about our concerns. We received replies from Ambient Philippines Publisher Relations Associate Karl Revilla and Accounts Payable Associate Aiza Villaver.
Revilla said Ambient is "still operational" although demands on ads stopped since March. He added that the company's finance department is working on payables but publishers have to be patient over the delay due to the ECQ.
Meanwhile, Villaver in an email said Ambient temporarily suspended payment processing until the ECQ is over. She assured publishers that they are working out with bank partners for online payments. There has been no update about this as of yet.
We hope the ECQ will end soon so we can get back to business with Ambient again.
