Huling Ulan Sa Tag-Araw Celebrates Love This Christmas
An official entry to Metro Manila Film Festival 2021, "Huling Ulan Sa Tag-Araw” brings to life the story of two souls who are bound to discover the real meaning of love’s pain and promise.
Lead the by the promising actor and actress Ken Chan and Rita Daniela, the film is about a seminarian looking for a sign, an entertainer longing for more time. Their life takes a sudden turn when fate lead them to an unexpected romance.
His parents call him “God’s Promise”. Growing up, everyone envisioned LUIS (Ken Chan) to become a priest. He was made to believe that he was meant to follow a path of Holy life. But on his final years, Luis was given a regency and had leave the seminary to reflect on his future.
Luis was looking for a sign from God when he met a bar performer, the fierce and beautiful LUISA (Rita Daniela). Thinking that Luisa could be that sign he was asking for, he “hires” Luisa and takes her to his family’s house in Pagsanjan. Meanwhile, Luisa needs the extra money to beat her personal deadline.
As their two different worlds intertwine, they soon find themselves falling hard for one other, but only to realize that fate is, yet again, taking them to a different course.
Completing the cast are Lotlot Deleon, Richard Yap, John Gabriel, Soliman Cruz, Joe Vargas, Bryan Benedict, and Kenneth Earl Medrano. Written by Acy Ramos and Rish Mangubat-Lunasco and helmed by the direction of Louie Ignacio. Huling Ulan Sa Tag-Araw opens in cinemas starting Dec 25, 2021.
