So what? Korina Sanchez shrugs off relationship with Marcos Jr

Korina Sanchez isn’t bothered at the very least about the flak that she’s getting for taping an interview and cooking segment with presidential aspirant Ferdinand Marcos Jr.

Sanchez posted on Instagram Friday (February 4) snapshots from the taping with Marcos, which happened at the same time as the forum on presidential candidates sponsored by the Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas (KBP).

Marcos had declined to appear in the forum with his rivals, citing conflicts in his schedule.

In the comments section of Sanchez’s post, a netizen asked if Sanchez’s husband, Mar Roxas, is indeed a second cousin of Marcos’ wife, Liza Araneta.

Sanchez replied: “Yes and… so? Riba (sic) nagpainterview din siya kay Boy Abunda at sa iba pa?”

Marcos has been criticized for his selective engagement with mainstream media outlets. Last month, he declined to appear on “The Jessica Soho Presidential Interviews” aired on GMA Network, accusing Soho of bias.

The son of the late dictator Ferdinand Marcos was also a no-show at the scheduled interview on DZBB radio earlier this week, with his team claiming difficulties in contacting him.

The interview was supposed to take place amid the controversy in the Commission on Elections regarding the delay in the resolution of his disqualification cases.
