PUBG Mobile releases first-ever Tagalog voice pack
Since its launch in 2018, battle royale game PUBG Mobile has amassed a sizable fan base in the Philippines. Over the years, rumors of Filipino-themed voice packs and cosmetics for Tencent's award-winning game have circulated. Finally, the PUBG Mobile Tagalog Voice Pack featuring Rodfil of Moymoy Palaboy is available.
Moymoy Palaboy is made up of two brothers, James Ronald (a.k.a. Moymoy) and Rodfil Macasero (a.k.a. Roadfill), who gained popularity for their lip-syncing antics, singing prowess, and comedic content.
Rodfil, one half of the duo, brings PUBG Mobile's first-ever Tagalog Voice Pack to life with his cadence in the Tagalog language, lending an extra layer of life to player characters.
"I am happy to be the very first Tagalog voice for PUBG Mobile," said Rodfil.
"It is an unforgettable experience, as a gamer, to hear your own voice and imagine thousands of Filipinos listening to it. This is a win for Filipino representation in mobile games," added Rodfil.
Here are the lines included in the PUBG Mobile Tagalog Voice Pack featuring Moymoy Palaboy's Roadfill.
- Isa lang ang pwede magtagumpay. Tara! (There can only be one winner. Let's go!)
- May kalaban diyan! (Danger ahead!)
- Bantayan mo ako! (Cover me!)
Hearing these lines within the game, rather than through the game's fully integrated voice chat, should be refreshing for many players who are stuck at home and unable to socialize.
