Webzen MU Online opens new SEA servers for PlayPark MU players

Game company Webzen has announced that its classic PC MMORPG MU Online welcomes new Southeast Asia players and opens transfers to the new SEA servers.

Since March 22, 2022, the publishing service for Southeast Asian regions of MU Online has been transferred from the previous Asiasoft (PlayPark) to Webzen. From now on, players in this region will have access to a dedicated community and support staff and events, contests, and tournaments managed through the global game portal webzen.com.

Webzen has opened the new SEA servers, including Noatun and Jotunheim, to accommodate the new members. Previous MU SEA users will have until June 21 to apply for game data transfer to the new servers, including their characters, equipment, in-game currency, and items. After the transfer is complete, their original MU SEA data will be transferred to their new Webzen account, allowing them to continue playing from where they left off.

Along with this service transition, the MU Online team hosts celebration events to welcome the PlayPark MU players and reward those who complete their migration by April 12. After completing their data transfer during the event period, previous SEA players will receive free rewards such as Gold Channel Ticket, Perishing Wing Box, and Scroll Package.

Players can collect various Elemental Symbols (Fire/Water/Earth/Wind/Darkness) from elemental monsters in the Temple of Gray Aida and Arnil in order to combine them into Superior Pentagram and Mastery Parts.

Moreover, Chaos Castle, Blood Castle, and Devil Square rewards are doubled during the event period. The drop rate of Guardian Upgrade Stones obtained from NPC Moss has been doubled. Additionally, all newcomers can participate in the Mastery Equipment/Pentagram Enhancement Event, the Jewel of Harmony Refinement Event, and the 300-hours playtime Event.

On top of the events listed above, all players, including original MU Global users, will receive a 30% EXP boost, a 20% monster HP decrease, and free gifts such as a Gold Channel Ticket, a Talisman of Ascension, and a Pet Skeleton.
