11,425 Candidates Successfully Complete the 2025 Bar Exams
A total of 11,425 candidates successfully completed the three-day 2025 Bar Examinations, which ended on September 14. This marks the highest number of finishers in the history of the Philippine Bar exams.
Of the 13,193 applicants originally admitted, 11,437 showed up on the first day. The examinations were administered across 14 local testing centers nationwide, with accommodations made for examinees with disabilities.
Chairperson Associate Justice Amy Lazaro-Javier reported that the exams proceeded “smoothly,” with no incidents or disruptions. She also urged the new lawyers to take an active role in upholding the Strategic Plan for Judicial Innovations (2022–2027), emphasizing its importance for the future of the judiciary. Associate Justice Samuel Gaerlan has been designated as Chairperson for the next Bar Examinations
