Dahil sa Sakit, Maagang Naulila ang Tatay na ito at ang Kanyang Sanggol na Anak

Giving birth to a child is one of the most rewarding moments in a woman's life. Yet sadly, not all mothers survive to raise their child. Giving birth bears a lot of complication, and in a worst-case scenario, it can even endanger the life of the mother.

This is what happened to Mathew Velarde and his girlfriend, Aby. At first, the young couple was overjoyed after finding out that Aby was bearing a child. Throughout her pregnancy, her supportive boyfriend never left her side.

But the real challenge came when Aby was about to give birth. On January 26, 2019, she was rushed to Pagamutan ng Dasmarinas. However, the tedious paperwork delayed Aby's admission. By this time, the doctors required her to undergo a cesarean operation.

In the end, Aby gave birth to a bouncing baby girl they named Fayette. But this is when their calvary started. Due to her complicated operation, Aby felt weak and exhausted all the time. According to Mathew, she started blacking out sometimes.

On February 7, Mathew bade goodbye to Aby as he set off for work. Little did he know that this will be the last time he'll ever see Aby alive. That afternoon, Aby was rushed to the hospital, yet unfortunately, her body gave up.

Many netizens couldn't help but shed a tear at the heartbreaking fate of Mathew and his baby. It was painful to lose his partner, but Mathew promised to dedicate his being in raising baby Fayette.

On the other hand, some netizens claimed that the mother might have suffered from the dreaded 'binat.' Many Filipinos believe in this post-partum sickness, which allegedly happens to mothers who strain themselves right after giving birth.
