How to Renew PRC License ID Card Online?
If you are a license teacher, nurse, architect, engineer, physician, criminologist and other professionals that are registered under the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC). You are required to renew your PRC license identification (ID) card once after it expires.
Typically, to renew your license, you need to go to the nearest PRC offices to apply a renewal of license. After the application is done, you need to wait several days (probably two weeks) to come back again to PRC to pick-up your new license ID.
If your are a kind of busy person, you cannot do that right away. Renewing can be an inconvenience especially if you have work and you need to file a leave of absence just to renew your license.
That is why PRC develop a system to encourage all professionals who already expired their license to renew their license online in easy ways. Now all professionals can renew their identification cards over the internet.
Renewing PRC License Identification Card Online
Here the step-by-step process on how to renew your PRC License Online:
Note: This procedure is applicable only for Central Office. For regional applicants, please proceed to the nearest PRC Regional office.
step 1:
Please take note, If you are doing this for the first time, you must have the following on hand before you start :
- you have your email address (must know the password)
- your mobile number (ex. 09281234567)
- of course your Personal data (including date of graduation)
- your ID photo in .jpg format (soft copy) saved on your computer, phone or tablet. (You can request for an e-file if you have your ID photo taken at a photo studio.)
step 2:
Visit the PRC website at www.prc.gov.ph and click on the CLICK HERE button for PRC Online Services or enter the URL http://www.prc-online.com.
step 3:
If you are using this for the first time, click on the REGISTER tab and fill out the form. You MUSTcreate your OWN account using your OWN email address. You are allowed to use ONLY ONE VALID EMAIL ACCOUNT PER USER/APPLICANT. Complete all fields using drop down menu where applicable then choose ACCEPT TERMS OF SERVICE.
- Read the Terms of Service CAREFULLY and click on the green [ Agree ] button if you wish to continue.
- Click the SIGN UP NOW button.
step 4:
If you have previously registered online enter your email address and password, then click SIGN IN.
step 5:
To activate your account, access your registered e-mail account, open the PRC generated email then click Activate Account to verify your account.
step 6:
Provide your information.
- Create your profile. To make sure that information is accurate, you must fill up these forms yourself. Where appears, search with the drop down menu. Do not type in the information.
- After filling out your profile, check the box for renewal application. Click on the SAVE INFORMATION button
- Double check your information before you click on the YES button. (You will not be allowed to change your name after clicking YES.)
step 7:
Inserting / uploading your photo.

Your application details will be displayed. You may still edit your information (except for your name) by clicking on the EDIT button. Click theicon to upload your photo.

READ the photo requirements carefully. To avoid delay or disapproval, please upload good quality ID photo. Click the OKAY button to proceed.
- Upload your picture via your computer or phone directory.
- To continue, click SELECT TRANSACTION.
step 8:
Renewal of License.
- Click SELECT RENEWAL.

Select your Profession and enter your PRC License Number, then click the PROCEED button. (PRC License number ex: 1234567).
step 9:
Select the PRC office where you want your transaction to be processed. Choose an appointment date (only from colored boxes). Then choose your preferred payment option.
step 10:
For Over the Counter / ATM Banking Payment Option

If you choose OVER THE COUNTER/ATM BANKING as your payment option, you will be asked to choose your preferred banks for payment. Then click on SELECT button. (NOTE: when paying at the bank, use BILLS PAYMENT form. Do not use Dragon Pay)
- A confirmation window will appear with a Reference Number. COPY YOUR REFERENCE NUMBER. Click the link to view the payment instruction.
step 11:
For Online Banking payment option.
- If you choose ONLINE BANKING as your payment option, choose your preferred banks for payment. Then click on SELECT button.
- A confirmation window will appear with a Reference Number. COPY YOUR REFERENCE NUMBER. Click the link to view the payment instruction.
step 12:
For Mobile Payment Option

If you choose MOBILE PAYMENT as your payment option, enter your mobile number.
Then click on the PAY button.

A confirmation window will appear with a Reference Number. COPY YOUR REFERENCE NUMBER. Click the link to view the payment instruction.
step 13:
If you choose OVER THE COUNTER NON-BANK as your payment option, the confirmation will appear immediately. COPY YOUR REFERENCE NUMBER. Click the link to view the payment instruction.
After clickingbutton, you will see this page. Read and follow the Payment Instruction Page carefully to avoid any delay on your transaction.
step 14:
Printing of Claim Stub

AFTER PAYMENT, verify your status at EXISTING TRANSACTION Tab. Select PRINT CLAIM STUBbutton.

Click thebutton to print the Application for Professional Identification Card form. Then click the CLOSE button.
step 15:
Click your name on the upper right corner of the screen and click the LOGOUT button.
REMINDER
Remember: always LOG OUT at the end of your online session especially when using public computers (Internet and cyber cafes). This is to prevent others from accessing your account and to protect yourself from fraud, identity theft and other malicious intent.
step 16:
Proceed to the PRC Office you selected in the appointment page. Bring the claiming stub.
