DITO Telecom target maging No. 1 Telco sa bansa

Mukhang nakahanap na talaga ng katapat ang mga malalaking kompanyang Smart at Globe Telecom sa nalalapit na pagbubukas ng DITO Telecom.

Sa isang virtual briefing sinabi ni DITO chief administrative officer Adel Tamano na ang kanilang 5G service ay magiging "superior" kaysa sa mga kakumpitensya dahil sila ay mag-aalok ng stand-alone 5G, na hindi umaasa sa umiiral na 4G technology.

Kaugnay nito sinabi naman ni DITO  chief technology officer Rodolfo Santiago na kasalukuyang nakapagtayo na sila ng total na 1,532  towers sa bansa.

Nagpahayag din ni Santiago ang hangarin ng DITO na maging number 1 na telecommunications sa bansa, na kasalukuyang pinamumunuan ng mga higanteng Globe at PLDT.

“We don’t want to remain as the third telco, that’s why we said we’re the newest telco because we want to be No. 1,” sabi ni Santiago.
