MIR4 March 22 Patch: Class Balance Changes, new 7-day attendance event
MIR4 has released its March 22 patch, bringing class balance changes, a new 7-day attendance event, as well as in-game bug fixes and gameplay improvements. Check out the highlights of MIR4 March 22 patch notes below.
Class Balance Changes
Warrior (Buffed)
In order to complement the weaknesses of warriors who were unable to properly perform their primary role as a tank due to a lack of Health Points (HP) recovery means through skills during battles, the developers improved several skill effects to account for an increase in HP recovery and defensive stat boost upon skill use.
Here are the changes in the skills of Warriors:
Riposte
- [New] Recovers the character's health immediately after using the skill.
- Tier 8: 10%
- Tier 10: 20%
Barbaric Charge
- [New] Increases character's own PHYS DEF (Physical Defense) and CRIT EVA (Critical Evade) when skill is used.
- Tier 8: PHYS DEF +150 & CRIT EVA +100 for 6 seconds
- Tier 10: PHYS DEF +300 & CRIT EVA +200 for 6 seconds
Iron Shackle
- The cooldown reduction decreased from 48 seconds to 40 seconds.
Berserk
- Removal of amplified DMG (Damage) penalty received after using the skill.
Lion's Roar
- Minor DMG (Damage) will be inflicted on enemies on the outer edge of the skill's main area of effect (AOE).
- Maximum damage remains the same.
Sorcerer (Buffed)
Sorcerers lacked efficiency in combat due to their lengthier spell cast duration. Most of the skills were non-targeted AoE spells, limiting on-demand target-specific damage during combat. Skill balance changes include an increase in the area of effect (AoE), an increase in the max number of enemies hit, and overall skill cooldown reduction.
Here are the changes in the skills of Sorcerers:
Thunderstorm
- Rework
- Before: Strikes enemies with thunderbolts created on random spots in the vicinity of the enemy
- Now: Strikes an enemy with thunderbolts centered around the enemy's location. (3 hits + an additional 1 hit in the center of the skill area of effect.)
- The maximum number of enemies hit increased from 8 to 10.
- Adjustment on skill hit rate via the reduction of spellcasting time.
- Reduced the spellcasting time of the skill
Chain Lightning
- The maximum number of enemies hit increased from 6 to 7.
- Increased damage inflicted to subsequent targets hit by Chain Lightning (2nd~6th hits).
Flame Strike
- The cooldown reduction decreased from 50 seconds to 45 seconds.
Frozen Block
- The enemy's movement speed will decrease when the Ice Shield gets created.
- Before: Frostbite (Decrease in movement speed) will be triggered to chilled enemies once Ice Shield breaks.
- Now: Frostbite (Decrease in movement speed) will be triggered to chilled enemies as soon as the Ice Shield skill is activated.
- DMG (Damage) inflicted to surrounding enemies upon skill cast increased, and DMG inflicted to surrounding enemies at the end of the skill reduced.
- Maximum damage remains the same.
Taoist (Buffed)
While Taoist plays an essential role in party hunting, she is somewhat vulnerable in solo hunting. That being the case, the developers increased the range and area of effect (AoE) of certain attack skills.
Here are the changes in the skills of Taoists:
Moonlight Orb
- Skill Range and Area of Effect (AoE) increased
Rain of Blades
- Skill Range increased
Tai Chi
- Minor DMG will be inflicted on enemies on the outer edge of the skill's main area of effect.
- There will be no changes on its total DMG.
Lancer (Buffed)
Lancer has shown weakness in hunting monsters due to the limited AoE of his skills. The developers increased the range and area of effect of some skills to address this issue.
Here are the changes in the skills of Lancers:
Sweeping Storm
- Minor DMG will be inflicted on enemies on the outer edge of the skill's main area of effect.
- There will be no changes on its total DMG.
Dragon Tail
- Minor DMG will be inflicted on enemies on the outer edge of the skill's main area of effect.
- There will be no changes on its total DMG.
