School Principal sa Zamboanga, Nagdala ng Kalabaw sa "Brigada Eskwela"
It's just a matter of weeks before school starts again. Because of this, more and more schools are preparing for their "Brigada Eskwela." In this annual happening, teachers, along with their students, will work together to prepare the school premises for the opening.
"Brigada Eskwela" can be quite challenging, which is why school staffs need as much help as they can. And that includes animals! Yes, you read that right. A principal from Sapa Anding Agricultural Vocational Technical School brought a carabao in school!
In a news report by GMA news, the brilliant principal was known as Desiderio Logdonio from Ramon Magsaysay, Zamboanga del Sur. During the "Brigada Eskwela," Desiderio decided to bring his carabao with him so it can help in tending the fields. The carabao was spotted busy plowing the school gardens.
Moreover, according to the report, Desiderio owns the carabao that he has brought. Aside from being a principal, he also makes a living by being a farmer. He claims he is not embarrassed by his double profession because it puts food on the table for his family.
On the other hand, many people admired the principal for his ingenious idea. On social media, thousands of messages and comments poured in for the principal. Here's what one netizen has to say about this matter.
"Knowledge is earned not only in inside classrooms but most importantly from the outside of it, not only by theory but by the application of such. The principal mentioned is a good example of the above. Good job sir Principal."
