Bayaning Pit Bull, Sinagip ang Buhay ng Isang 7-Month-Old na Sanggol

Dogs are man's best friend, and there's a good reason why. In California, a dog is being hailed as a hero after saving the life of a 7-month-old baby from an ablaze apartment. The dog's owner, Nana Chaichanhda, recounted her dog's heroic act.

In an interview with FOX40, the Stockton resident claimed that at first, she was unaware that a small fire was already burning through the apartment. However, what caught her eye is her pit bull Sasha, who was acting a bit strange.

"I open it and she runs in and starts barking at me like crazy and I was like, 'OK, this is weird. This is not like her. She had already had my baby by the diaper and was dragging her off the bed. I was like, 'Oh my gosh, what are you doing?"

In a moment of panic, she immediately went to the room in search of her baby. But it seems like Sasha have already done it for her because, by the time Nana was able to get a hold of her baby, she found the dog dragging her by her diaper.

If it weren't for Sasha the pit bull, who knows what could have happened to the 7-month-old baby? Even though their apartment complex has taken a lot of damage, Nana was delighted that her baby is safe.

During the interview, the mother also expressed her overwhelming gratitude for Sasha:

"It meant a lot. I owe her everything. If it wasn’t for her, I would have still been in bed and things could have taken a worse turn."
