As the old saying goes, "Do not judge a book by its cover." Most of the times, we are guilty of judging other people based on their physical appearance. Today, let's take a look into this story that tells us why not to size up a person based on his looks.

In Thailand, a saleslady named Pimpim Cooper shared her memorable encounter with a beggar. In a high-end mall where she's working, Cooper witnessed how a homeless man went from stall to stall while looking at mobile phones.

Because of his drab appearance, no one paid attention to him at first. In fact, the mall security guard even attempted to throw him out a couple of times, but the beggar persisted. In the end, he was left to his own device while looking at the displayed phones.

For a while, the strange man continued on inspecting mobile phones. Later on, he asked for help from Cooper, who is the saleslady. Cooper was surprised because throughout their encounter, not once did the beggar asked about the price of the item.

Soon enough, the beggar finally made up his mind. He took wads of cash from his sack and gave it to Cooper. As expected, the saleslady was shocked because she did not expect her customer to afford the cellphone because of his drab appearance.

The man patiently waited outside the store while the saleslady counted his money. In the end, before leaving, he even apologized to Cooper for paying with so many bills. This gave Cooper the idea that the man must have saved so long just so he can get the phone.

This real-life story teaches a valuable lesson to us. Indeed, appearance alone is not enough to judge a person!
